Control Systems

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) needed a better control system at its Swingle CA plant, near Davis.

The scope of work executed by Verus was programming and commissioning. The programming scope started with a comprehensive review of the control philosophy, then development of the new PLC and OIT programs. Finally, a comprehensive acceptance test was conducted against the control philosophy. The commissioning scope was an extensive program, designed by Verus, to test all field wiring, conduct functional tests on equipment, complete operational tests, and FCO testing with Gas Control.

PG&E received full support from qualified professionals at Verus, who were able to help ensure a smooth and safe upgrade of this part of the utility’s network.
