Chevron Corporation needed to upgrade the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) at its refinery in Richmond CA, in the San Francisco Bay area.
Verus is the lead engineering and automation company for the PLC upgrade project. This is a multi-phased program that encompasses assessment and verification of existing assets, detail design, construction support, and commissioning. The program impacts seven areas of the refinery and involves of over 100 PLCs and their associated networks.
